Carol Byars

Carol is a life long resident of Jasper and has been licensed in the real estate business for 23 years. She graduated from Walker High School in 1973 and went on to attend Walker College where she received a degree in Secretarial Studies. She was licensed in 1979 and worked for a short period of time before taking off to stay at home with her children. In 1994 she returned to work and has been active in the real estate field since that time. She is presently working to obtain her brokers license. Carol is a member of the National Association of Realtors, Alabama Association of Realtors and the Walker Board of Realtors. She is a past President of the Musgrove Ladies Golf Association. She has served as Chairperson of the Walker High School Business Education Advisory Committee. She is an active member of the First Baptist Church of Jasper where she is secretary of the Youth Sunday School Department. She is married to Tom Byars, who is the Broker for Byars & Associates, Inc. They have been married for 26 years and have 2 children. Amy is a graduate of Auburn University and is currently in Physical Therapy School at UAB. Andy is a sophomore at Auburn University where he is pursuing a business degree. He presently serves as a Tiger Host for the Auburn Football Program.
